Stepping towards the ocean

With infinite discoveries hidden within

Unraveling secrets by stepping around rough seashells

Slows me down, even more, 

Cultivate the awakening of my awareness

In this sheltered bay

Undressing my layers and seen by millions of eyes

Consciousness of trees, barnacles, and fish embraces me

Floating

Capacity of the great ocean holds me

My feet push away from her grainy bottom

Tasting her salty body

Smelling her seaweedy winds

Skin prickling from the cool waters 

Suspending my skin and bones

Hearing her waves breaking

All cares melt

All attachments dissolve away

Release all roles

All needs met

I’m seen and heard

Just in being

Ocean cradles me

Limitless rocking
